But at the same time, considering the pumping speed of the ink, because the ink is fed into the drum at high speed, the medium will turn slightly higher, so that more space will be reserved above the medium. The consumption of the horizontal sand mill can start from 80% of the cylinder volume, and then increase or decrease according to the discharge temperature or cooling water temperature.
Generally, when the temperature is higher than the allowable range, the amount of grinding media should be reduced; when the temperature is lower than the allowable range, the consumption of grinding media can be increased first, and then the speed of the rotating shaft can be increased. Usually, the ink discharge temperature is allowed to be in the range of 50 to 70°C. With this ruler can be measured to adjust the amount of media, some of the poor stability of the ink to be controlled. No matter which horizontal sand mill is used, the ink entering the equipment needs to be dispersed in advance, so as to give full play to the working efficiency of the sand mill. Because the shear force of the grinding medium to destroy the pigment aggregates (or pigment particles) is inversely proportional to the size of the pigment aggregates between the media, that is, the smaller the pigment aggregates, the greater the shear force between the media, and the better the grinding dispersion effect.
The working principle of horizontal sand mill: the eccentric sleeve on the dispersion shaft drives the pump to pump the lubricating oil into the mechanical seal device, and the circulating flow rate is ≥ 60L/h. The mixed material is input into the cylinder, and the material in the cylinder and the grinding medium are stirred by the high-speed rotating disperser, so that the solid particles in the material and the grinding medium have more severe collision, friction and shearing effect to achieve faster grinding effect. The purpose of fine particles and dispersed aggregates. The ground and dispersed material is separated from the grinding media by a dynamic separator and flows out of the discharge pipe. The horizontal sand mill is especially suitable for the dispersion grinding of products with high viscosity and fine particle size. The bottom of the grinding cylinder is equipped with a sliding track, which is very convenient to replace the grinding beads and disassemble during maintenance and repair. As long as the fixed screws are removed, the grinding cylinder can be opened to make the grinding beads flow out.
